Look at your family and then look at someone else’s family. They are totally different from yours, right? Why is that? Wouldn’t you think that families would be pretty similar? There are very few cases where families are running and functioning the same way. In my opinion what makes families different is what makes them all special. Your family is specifically designed by your unit and the choices you all make. This is called family culture.  Family culture is what makes every family unit so unique. A family's culture is influenced by their past and experiences and what each individual brings to the table. I believe that family culture can change however the family changes. It can be a negative or a positive thing. Everybody in a family has specific characteristics that bring diversity and life to a family. In my family I see different personalities that are based off of a foundation of love and support. Everyone in my family is so different from one another but what ties us all to

  Let's talk about family! Family can look very different for lots of people. Dynamics can be different for everyone. There are roles that family members play that are important to the function and dynamic to the family. The concept of the family systems theory begins to explain family roles and the way the dynamic changes according to your family members. According to the Bowen Center for the Study of the Family, “Bowen family systems theory is a theory of human behavior that views the family as an emotional unit and uses systems thinking to describe the unit’s complex interactions. It is the nature of a family that its members are intensely connected emotionally.” This theory is basically about how family members are connected and affected by the other family members. It is more of a feeling than fact. Family members have different personalities and emotions, experiences, and habits.   Welcome to "Everybody or Nobody"! Family. Whats the big deal, right? With the world we live in today the idea of family is a controversial topic. Here at "Everybody or Nobody" we will talk all about the family. Do you want to learn how to stand strong in a world that is full of anti family ideas? Well, you have come to the right place.  My name is Karissa Cook and I love my family. Right up there in the middle is my sweet mama who coined the phrase "Everybody or Nobody". "Everybody or nobody", said my mother, kindly reminding us to make sure to iclude our siblings on our adventures and fun. I come from goodly parents Justin and Susan who love their kids deeply. I(22) am part of the oldest sibling club with the other members my triplet siblings Kimball(22) and Kelsey(22). We have two little sisters, Emily(17) and Amanda who lives in Heaven).
